Plano West players form Team Parrot Heads to compete in summer tournaments, WIN 1st event of the Summer!!!!!
The goal and emphasis of the Youth program is primarily to develop Plano West players and teach basic skills and game strategies. Part of that development is competition at various levels depending on the player’s stage of individual development. To do this properly, players are evaluated by ALL coaches and divided up on A, B, C and Developmental teams. This allows coaches to teach kids of the same level and games are then played against opposing teams of the same level. Plano West Lacrosse is a member of NTYLL (North Texas Youth Lacrosse League) and games are played against other member teams throughout the Metroplex. There are approximately 24 member programs, ranging North to Lake Cities and South/West to Keller.
Winning games is not the primary goal, but will occur as a result of proper skill and game strategy development.
There will be two or three 7/8 teams (A,B,C) and two or three 5/6 teams (A,B,C). Registration is limited to the number of spots available on these teams. Players registering after the limits have been reached will be put on a wait list and notified if spots open up, based upon first come first serve.

CONFLICTS: We understand that Fall lacrosse overlaps with other sports. The Coaches expect, however, that those conflicts will be clearly communicated by the parents in an effort to understand why players miss practice, and adjust practice plans accordingly..
When teams are formed in the Fall, Youth Rosters and Game Schedules for all teams will be posted. Please remember to check your schedules or with your team before a game. You will receive updates from your coaches or your team parent. Team Parents will be designated once teams are formed.
Please check this website regularly for updated rosters, schedules and team related information.
